Unheard of analysis of Obama and his campaign

The latest really profound light that has been shed on the Obama phenomenon that i've found while surfing the net. You don't have to believe it or everything this particular critic says but you better have a good look at this because it is important to consider even if you don't agree. Check it out for yourselves...especially if you've been swept right up with everyone one else and put on the Obama train without taking a cold hard look at how you came to believe in Obama.....
Do it now for the sake of our future.
Sincerely,

Obama’s Unfortunate Hoop Dreams (or schooling ArneDuncan)

I've decided that all of the wonderful emails and news i've been getting about Obama's true warmongering nature(bombing and further invading Afghanistan), nazi style power politics(his whole sadistic cabinet and political advisors), murderous cowboy language (hunt em down, round em up, and kill em), is just to good not to send to all of you who:
1. Voted for Obama just because he has black skin and it would be nice to see someone other than a white male in office.
2. Believe he really means it when he promises you change and gave you that false hope
3. All throughout the Bush presidency i saw and heard you keep saying..."i can't wait until the 8 Bush years are over!" and "We just need a new president".
4. Cried tears of joy when he got SElected.
5. Threw or attended a "Change" party in your neighborhood.
6. Bought a shirt in South L.A. somewhere on a corner with Obama on it that said, "just let a brotha in" or "stop the drama vote Obama", or with Obama's face next to Dr. King's that said, "i have a dream". (Never ever Malcolm next to Obama or any reference to Malcolm's legacy...strange isn't it?)
7. Had your child believing that Obama was the one to vote for and telling him/her that he is a good man or buying him/her the Obama comic books, games, video's, speeches, cereal, Obama cookies, Obama candy, Obama toilet paper. (some of these may not exist at this time).
8. Don't care or believe that Obama is related by blood to Bush and Cheney and that this got him Selected.
9. Don't know what is what Malcolm called a "House Negro".
10. ...and i'll end it here for now...You're a person who will campaign for and vote for Obama again in 4 years even after you continue to see his true colors.

Until next article exposing him...

Obama’s Unfortunate Hoop Dreams (or schooling ArneDuncan)
By Dave Zirin

"I think we are putting together the bestbasketball-playing Cabinet in American history." So said Barack Obama uponnaming Arne Duncan his nominee for Secretary of Education.

There is no doubt that when it comes to hoops, Duncan hasgame. The man stands six feet, five inches. He was an Academic All-American baller at Harvard University and played professionally inAustralia for four years. Long before becoming "ChiefExecutive Officer" of Chicago Public Schools, Duncan put in time in the UnitedStates minor league hoops circuit with teams like the Rhode IslandGulls and New Jersey Jammers.
No question, if I was on the court choosing teams, I'd pick Duncan in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, we aren't selecting a pick up squad. Whatis at stake is the future of public education. And when it comes toour schools Duncan's record brands him as a scrub. Take this critiqueas something from someone who taught in DC Public Schools for four years and whosewife still slogs through the crumbling infrastructure of the system. If you believe that "we can't just throw money" atschools, that unions are a block to reform, that the military should have openaccess to our kids, and that charter schools are the greatest thing tohappen to education since corporal punishment, then you willprobably disagree with what will follow and Arne Duncan should warm thecockles of your heart.
Duncan might not have fulfilled his dreams of scoringtwenty a game, but he has converted roughly twenty Chicago publicschools a year over to private operations. He has rejected many of Chicago's "Local School Councils", loves the stultifying test taking used tojudge national standards, and stands firmly with the notion thatteachers at poorly-testing schools should be canned. Duncan has alsoturned a blind eye to addressing a study from his alma mater, HarvardUniversity, that Chicago's Public School's are "only a few percentagepoints from an experience of total apartheid for Black students."
But the experience of Chicago teacher Jesse Sharkey are more damning that anything I could write. Sharkey teaches at Senn HighSchool where students, parents, and teachers organized togetherin ahigh profile campaign to keep the city from installing a Naval Academyinside the school. As Sharkey wrote, "We asked Duncan to postpone the decision to put the military school at Senn. Duncan's answer was aclassic. He said: 'I come from a Quaker family, and I've always beenagainst war. But I'm going to put the Naval Academy in there, becauseit will give people in the community more choices.'"He's just thekind of person who will look at you with a straight face and tell youthat, as a person with a pacifist background, he supports a military school."
Well, at least we know Duncan will fit in well inWashington, where personal conviction means little when up againstpolitical objectives. (See Warren, Rick.)
Make no mistake about it: I like the fact that hoops willbe part of the culture of the new White House. Duncan, AG nominee EricHolder, National Security advisor General James Jones andambassador to the UN nominee Susan Rice all havea serious basketball pedigree. And as someone who grew up in New York City playing hoops onlyslightly less that I breathed, I strongly relate to the passage inObama's 1995 book Dreams From My Father, where he wrote, "I could playbasketball, with a consuming passion that would always exceed my limitedability. . . On the basketball court I could find a community ofsorts, with an inner life all its own. It was there that I would make myclosest white friends, on turf where blackness couldn't be adisadvantage."
For me as well, in a divided New York City, thebasketball court was where walls felt like they could come down. But I havefar more faith in the sacred power of hoops than I do in an educationsecretary who presides over an apartheid system and attacks teachersand public education in the name of reform. If Duncan tries to bringthat into my lane, I won't be the only person ready to smack that junkback into the third row.

Please Check This Blog Out.....

This is one of my favorite blogspots to read:

Soldier Pat Tillman Former Arizona Cardinal, War, & the Superbowl

I was raised in a family with a big football tradition but never watch or keep up with professional football games like i do with the Lakers. Something about basketball's beautiful finesse and non-combative spirit that draws me to it more so than all of the war and dominance that is the essence of football. Add to that all of the U.S. promotion of war and patriotism through killing that they absolutely make sure to take advantage of during a world wide viewed event like the Superbowl and you have the makings for a perfect blend of extremism, fanaticism, and the paving of the road to fascism.
Yesterday's Superbowl was no different. It was just like all of the rest i never really analyzed to much when i was a kid but remember clearly how everything unfolded. All of the stores packed with people buying up cases of beer, all the avocados, and all of the chips. I'd arrive to the designated family members house who was hosting the game, usually the family alcoholic and the one with the biggest T.V. The television would remain on the channel all day that was airing the Superbowl and the drinking and gluttony would commence. Throughout this time everyone's conversation would continuously be littered with the mention of all of the new commercials they were so excited to get to see this year and everyone guessing at how cool the half-time show would be. There was just one problem, by the time those moments in televison land arrived 98% of the household crowd was drunk, slurring their words, red in the face, and willing to accept anything as fact that the T.V., at the controls of the U.S. corporate and military media, presented to them.
Even at the beginning of the game, after about 6 hours of pre-drinking and the arrival of a really good buzz, not a soul could escape the emotional tear jerking sound of the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful blended with the screaming and fiery sound of bloody bomb dropping military jets flying overhead and all of the visions of Marines, Army, Navy, and Airforce personel watching the game in some far off land in one of over 100 countries the U.S. occupies with military bases. You can't help but feel empowered through war and invasion, especially if you're full of beer - the stuff we call "liquid courage" on the streets and even more so if you happen to be watching right when they bring the President on screen to Christen the Superbowl tradition on Holy Sunday, in this case it was the unquestionable super hero Barack Obama who had one hell of an orchastrated Superbowl election and inaugeration himself.
But what does this have to do with Pat Tillman the ex-Arizona Cardinal and U.S. Special Forces hero? Everything. Because there were really only two reasons yesterday why i sat and watched off and on all of the festivities. One, because i really enjoy making a psychological study out of it and now that i have a little son we sat and watched together as i asked him many questions about what was being presented to him. i want him to begin at a very early stage to think critically and know exactly what he is being confronted with in the media. We had a wonderful exchange about sports & competition, war, greed, buying things we don't need, waste, alcohol and it's affect on the body, family, and community and you'd be surprised at how amazingly bright and intelligent his little mind is. Two, i watched in memory of Pat Tillman, his excellence in athletics, and his unbelievable courage to give up a professional football career and all that goes with it to join the military and do what at that time he felt was the right thing to do. I watched yesterday's Superbowl looking for just one moment when his name would be mentioned, his picture would be shown, his service to his country and the death that it brought would be remembered but i never saw anything. i might have missed it if they did do so but am pretty sure that it never happened because doing so would have made everyone remember Pat and ask, "what ever happened to that guy?"
Well, i write to you today to urge you to head over to your local bookstore and purchase the book, "Boots On The Ground By Dusk : My Tribute To Pat Tillman" by none other than his Mom Mary Tillman. It was written just this last year in 2008 and is one of the most heart wrenching and truly emotional stories about family, faith, friendship, loyalty, courage, honor, and truth that i have read in a long time. I got to know Pat and his whole family through this book and i thank his Mom for having all of the strength to share with us and even more to write about her son and how he died in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004 or should i say how she, Pat's brother Kevin who served in the same unit as him, his wife Marie and the whole family investigated and came to the conclusion that to drum up Superbowl (my word) support for the war he was murdered by the United States secret military forces, his own military men at the behest of the Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld crime families who are still at work in our lives and in the world regardless of a new black president who uses the words hope and change.
It would have been nice to see a tribute to Pat be shown yesterday and even more to see his Mom Mary be given an award, recognition, or just something to honor their sacrifice. After reading the book though i knew that this would never happen. She is a Mom on a mission. Questioning everything and everyone about her son's murder. From her story i learned that she is not to be messed with and has no fear of asking even that 4 star General Petreus they brought out to the middle of the field yesterday to do the coin toss why she is getting NO REAL answers as to why Pat was set up and shot directly in the head blowing his brain and skull clear off of his body by U.S. soldiers. YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK! It has everything to do with uncovering the lies and secrecy that all of the governmental and military leaders work everyday to keep from us. It has everything to do with freedom and democracy and everything to do with your freedom to question and not just go along or be carried along with false patriotism issued and cultivated through a yearly football game used to develop and promote a war mentality, a "just bombed them" mentality, a "we gotta kill them before they kill us" touchdown mindset.
The Superbowl is not "just a football game" people. That kind of reasoning is for Homer Simpson. We have to begin to think and confront things like the Tillman family and the greatest thing that her book taught me was to do it before we lose any more of our sons and daughters in U.S. wars around the world for profit and before they are forgotten, purposely sidelined and wiped away by another and another war that each and every generation in our country has to live and fight through. Sure the soldiers are recognized and honored...as long as they are right in line with the Superbowl mentality, never questioning the reason for why they are being asked to kill or injure other human beings. But as soon as they do, there is a purposeful campaign by all of the forces of the State to silence them, their families, and threaten their existence. Pat & Kevin Tillman along with the whole Tillman family and all the other families who have lost a loved one and questioned the military and government are a real testament to this. Please reasd the book. You won't regret that you did.

-"Fascism is not the easiest thing to identify and analyze; nor, once in power, is it easy to destroy...Points to stress are: (1) Fascism is more apt to come to power in time of economic crisis; (2) Fascism inevitably leads to war; (3) it can come in any country; (4) we can best combat it by making our democracy work.

OBAMA, CHENEY, CHENEY'S WIFE, & BUSH ADMIT THAT THEY ARE COUSINS!

This is primarily a direct response to all of the so-called "Latino" organizations, specifically MAPA - the Mexican American Political Association & Hermandad Latino Americana, who have recently put out the call for all to convene and participate in the organizing efforts to get Barack Obama (Obama Rama) elected to the presidency.
If you are considering answering that call there are some things that you should really consider before allowing yourself to get caught up in what i like to call the "Obama Drama" and committing any amount of your time or money to his campaign.

Before i give you my own opinion i would like to call your attention to a fantastic article that Mumia Abu Jamal wrote recently urging everyone to look very closely at who Obama is, where he comes from, and whose interests he has at heart. (This article is posted at the bottom end of this e-mail for your reading pleasure and please share it with others).

The other persons ideas i would urge you to take into consideration would be that of Ralph Nader who if you didn't know is also running for president right now. His article voicing similar feelings that Mumia has is also posted at the end of this e-mail for you to read.

One thing that both did not mention and that everyone who i tell this to is seriously shocked by is that Obama has the same blood running through his veins as the Bush Family and the Cheney Family...literally! He is both George W. Bush's cousin and Dick Cheney's cousin, not to mention a whole entire list of ancestors he is related to that goes all the way back to the ancient royal/ruling class bloodlines of Europe. Here is where you can find proof of this, out of their own mouths! Go too:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niGLijlQ6WU
SEE FOR YOURSELVES HOW MUCH OF A JOKE THEY TRY TO MAKE OUT OF THIS IN ORDER TO DISMISS THE VERY REAL TRUTH BEHIND THE (S)ELECTION OF U.S. PRESIDENTS....

Why is this relevent/important? It matters because we do not directly vote for any president ever and never have voted directly for any of the white corporate male executives (including Obama) in our country. They have all been selected and the one with the purest family royal bloodlines wins. There have been exceptions but those exceptions were eliminated quickly. The sooner we come to live this reality the sooner we can move on with our lives. When leaders of organizations that identify themselves as grassroots and for working people, such as the two that i mentioned above at the beginning of this e-mail, call upon us to give our time and money to politicos who are blood relatives connected to Feudal Europe and Corporate America we cannot forgo simply asking WHY?

MAPA and HERMANDAD LATINO-AMERICANA have forgotten or do not know or refuse to acknowledge that there are hundreds and thousands if not millions of youth and working class radicals that will no longer chase our tails around in a circle by seeking remedies, apologies, and reparations from individuals who compromise the integrity of the community and who are tied into, represent, and empower the corporate political process set up and established to maintain control over the dynamic, radical, revolutionary, and democratic organizing efforts in battles waged for freedom on a daily basis in our neighborhoods, community centers, councils, unions, co-ops, and even families!

i name MAPA AND HML because these two are representative of so many other organizations who over the course of the next six months, and forever if we let them, will be calling upon all of us to get behind a politico who says one thing and does another. Listen for the catch words: "change", "freedom", "democracy", "unity", "working-class America", "what the people want", "peace", "make no mistake about it" (Villaraigosa's favorite opening line) on and on and on but watch their actions: status-quo, bondage, authoritarianism, divisiveness, protection of property above the rights of the community, the hoarding of and allegiance to money, male dominance, and most of all WAR.

MAPA just put out a call to attend this years National Latino Congreso and as part of that requested the community to attend an extravagant ballroom dinner to feed Obama and all of his cohorts so that he can in return feed us all of the above mindless catch phrases and promises that only a Homer Simpson and everyone in the community of Springfield could and would lap up. One year the President of MAPA and so many other members of the established opposition to the establishment paid hundreds of dollars to register in the NLC, crossed a picket line in front of the National Latino Congreso to enter and give speeches, presentations, catch camera angles, and rub elbows and toast with wine glasses among the bourgeois elite.
There is no doubt in my mind that some of these same so-called leaders of the people attended and encouraged the community to attend the 2006 summer conference the National Council of La Raza put on where Karl Rove, the Nazi murderous architect of both invasionary Gulf wars, was invited as the guest speaker and welcomed as one to discuss and debate immigration issues with.

Check out the info. for yourselves and try to remember what has happened over the last 8 years. Better yet, the last 500+ years on Native American soil. You will be amazed at what we are in store for in the next 4 years. Separate your soul from the process they have set up to framework our lives. Support real change on a daily basis through hard work in the gardens, cultural schools and institutes, Hip Hop and it's four cultural elements, serving "Food not Bombs", co-ops, peace coalitions, etc. etc. Let there be art, love, music, and creativity where the revolution is concerned!

Here are the articles:

MUMIA'S

Is Obama's Victory Ours? [col. writ. 6/5/08] (c)'08 Mumia Abu-Jamal With the attainment of the required delegates to claim the Democratic Party's nomination for U.S. president, Sen. Barack H. Obama (D. ILL.) has written a new page in American history. For by so doing he succeeds where Channing Phillips, Shirley Chisholm, Jesse Jackson, Sr., and Al Sharpton could not - by gaining the necessary delegates to demand nomination. Of course, there have been numerous Black candidates for president, but these have been third party efforts designed more to raise issues, to organize or protest than to actually win elections. Some of the best known have been Eldridge Cleaver (former Black Panther Minister of Information) , Dick Gregory, Dr. Lenora Fulani, and the former congresswoman, Cynthia McKinney. But this is a different kettle of fish, for Obama's candidacy is the closest to make it to the winner's circle. What also distinguishes Obama from his predecessors is he doesn't come from civil rights, Black liberation, socialist or anti war movements. (He often remarks at speeches, "I'm not against all wars, I'm just against dumb wars") Indeed, although his detractors may try to paint him as a leftist liberal this is hardly true. On issues both foreign and domestic he would've been more at home in the Republican Party of his senatorial forebear, Edward Brooke of Massachusetts . For though he is Black by dint of his African father, he has studiously avoided Black political groups in his long, harrowing climb to the rim of the White House. He has studiously avoided the very real and long standing grievances of Black America. In fact, he tried to run a 'post-racial' campaign until Sen. Hillary R. Clinton (D.N.Y.) (and her rambunctious husband, former Pres. Bill), brought race front and center during the Super Tuesday February primaries, by trying to pigeonhole him as 'the Black candidate'. This primary wounded Obama, and as he won in the delegate count, he also lost a number of primary states, such as Ohio and Pennsylvania , which are necessary for a win in November. Politics is the art of making people believe that they are in power when in fact, they have none. It is a measure of how dire is the hour that they've passed the keys to the kingdom to a Black man. As in many American cities, Black Mayors were let in when the treasuries were almost barren, and tax bases were almost at rock-bottom. With the nation's manufacturing base also a thing of history, amidst the socioeconomic wreckage of globalization, with foreign affairs in shambles, the rulers reach for a pretty, brown face to front for the Empire. 'Real change that you could believe in' would be an end to Empire, and an end to wars for corporate greed, not just a change of the shade of the political managers. That change, I'm afraid, is still to come.

NADER'S
Nader: Obama trying to 'talk white' By M.E. Sprengelmeyer Originally published 12:05 a.m., June 25, 2008 Updated 07:01 p.m., June 25, 2008

Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader accused Sen. Barack Obama, the presumed Democratic Party nominee, of downplaying poverty issues, trying to "talk white" and appealing to "white guilt" during his run for the White House.Nader, a thorn in the Democratic Party's side since the 2000 presidential election, has taken various shots at Obama in recent days while ramping up his latest independent run for president. In a wide-ranging interview with the Rocky Mountain News on Monday, he said he is running because he believes Democrats, like Republicans, are too closely aligned with corporate interests.Economic exploitationNader was asked if Obama is any different than Democrats he has criticized in the past, considering Obama's pledge to reject campaign contributions from registered lobbyists."There's only one thing different about Barack Obama when it comes to being a Democratic presidential candidate. He's half African-American, " Nader said. "Whether that will make any difference, I don't know. I haven't heard him have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos. Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What's keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn't want to appear like Jesse Jackson? We'll see all that play out in the next few months and if he gets elected afterwards."The Obama campaign had only a brief response, calling the remarks disappointing.Asked to clarify whether he thought Obama does try to "talk white," Nader said: "Of course."I mean, first of all, the number one thing that a black American politician aspiring to the presidency should be is to candidly describe the plight of the poor, especially in the inner cities and the rural areas, and have a very detailed platform about how the poor is going to be defended by the law, is going to be protected by the law, and is going to be liberated by the law," Nader said. "Haven't heard a thing.""We are obviously disappointed with these very backward-looking remarks," Obama campaign spokeswoman Shannon Gilson said.Plans to visit DNCNader said he plans to travel to Denver during this summer's Democratic National Convention, hoping to highlight an alternative agenda that he thinks the party should pursue. His appearance in the city is sure to anger some Democrats who believe his presence on the ballot during the contested 2000 election cost Al Gore votes, helping Republican George Bush win the disputed election.Nader rejects that blame, saying Democrats "scapegoated" him instead of looking at other factors that contributed to the defeat.'Appeal to white guilt'Nader said he is not impressed with Obama and that he does not see him campaigning often enough in low-income, predominantly minority communities where there is a "shocking" amount of economic exploitation. He pointed to issues like predatory lending, shortages of health care and municipal resources, environmental issues and others."He wants to show that he is not a threatening . . . another politically threatening African-American politician," Nader said. "He wants to appeal to white guilt. You appeal to white guilt not by coming on as black is beautiful, black is powerful. Basically he's coming on as someone who is not going to threaten the white power structure, whether it's corporate or whether it's simply oligarchic. And they love it. Whites just eat it up."© Rocky Mountain News
